World traveler with a passion for the unique.
+ Mount Kinabalu
Very early in my travels I summitted Mount Kinabalu in Borneo. On the second day of the trek I blew a hole in my eardrum causing an infection. In addition to my ear pain and fever, because of the altitude I began exhibiting signs of altitude sickness. I constantly reminded myself of the preparation I went though and how amazing it would feel to conquer the mountain I trudged on. After making the summit and looked down at the horizon to see the sun rise, and that is when I knew, that anything I put my mind to, I could accomplish, I was 16.
+ Certified IBA Indoor and Outdoor Skydiver
I have an issue with heights and roller-coasters. While on holiday in Kauai, Hawaii I faced my fears and booked a skydive. I had one of the most exhilarating and fun experiences of my life. While working in New York I met one of the owners of Sky Venture Partners, proprietors of Indoor Skydiving facilities throughout the world, including a newer location in New York. I booked time to fly, and later becoming their Operations Director. Conquering fear is an important part of my life and has taught me that with risk comes reward.
+ PADI Master Diver (SCUBA)
Diving has been one of my passions from a very young age. Ever time that I go SCUBA or free diving I feel like I am entering another world. I have been deep diving (over 90ft), cave diving, wreck diving, and am a certified rescue diver. I have traveled all over the world just to experiance the underwater world. I have done 10 days off the coast of Myanmar and 30 days throughout the Caribbean staying on 55+ft catamaran sailboats.
+ Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Plain, Tanzania
Africa provided an oportunity to reflect on my life and how blessed I Africa provided an opportunity to reflect on my life and how blessed I truly was. Visiting with locals who even with the difficulty of every day life were very upbeat and saw so much beauty in what they had. I also was able to take multiple safaris while there as well. The vastness of the plains was breath taking. It really was an amazing opportunity to see some of the most amazing animals in their natural habitat including one which is now extinct.
